Trekking Everest Region

For many your journey to Nepal would not be complete without a glimpse of  the highest mountain on Earth.Located in the eastern half  of Nepal,the Everest region offers a wide range of trekking experiences.From the well-developed trail to Everest Base Camp to treks in remote semi-wilderness areas,there is a choice to suit all comers.The main ethnic group that visitors will encounter in the Everest region is the Sherpas.There are also minorities of various other groups,notablyRai and Tamang in the lower hills and the ubiquitous Brahmin and cheetri farmers of the valleys.The northern part of district(khumbu)is Everest  National Park which was establish to protect the fragile environment ofthis alpine region.The park contains a variety of mammals,himalanthar,muskdeer,the Himalayan red panda and the black bear are all native to the park.Add to the mountain peaks ,glacier lakes, rhododendron forests,native flora and fauna traditional villags and ancient Buddhist monasteries, all go to make this region a spectacular destination. 

Our journey begins with an early morning flight from kathmandu to the mountain airstrip at Lukla in the heart of the KhumbuRegiion.There follows a fairly easy day of around three hours to our first stop Phakding .We continue Norht up the Dudhkosi Valley

Our journey begins with an early morning flight from kathmandu to the mountain airstrip at Lukla in the heart of the KhumbuRegiion.There follows a fairly easy day of around three hours to our first stop Phakding .We continue Norht up the Dudhkosi Valley to NamcheBazzar ,quite a hard day, where we spend a day acclimatizing good foof and accommodation .From Namchebazzar we trek to Khumjung  Tengbochemonastery,the seat of sherpaculture.It is mainly a gradual push up to Kala pattar and Everest Base Camp resting one day in Dingboche or Pheriche for some side trips and further acclimatization .After some spectacular close up views of Everest along with NuptseLohtse and Mount Pumori we retrace to Lukla for our flight to kathmandu .

Day 09:      Lobuche – EBC
