Chola Pass Trekking
Chola Pass Trekking is another popular Everest circuit route in Khumbu region. Everest circuit trek follows the route via high pass of Cho La 5368meters into the Base Camp of Mt. Everest 5364mtrs. An adventurous trek that goes through Lukla, Namche Bazaar and all the way to Gokyo valley, Chola Pass, Kalapattar and Everest Base Camp. Leading you to the settlement of the well-known Sherpa homeland, based at the foothills of the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest 8848 meters. Chola pass trekking follows the highly recommended trekking route through the Dudh Koshi to its source the Gokyo Lake which is to the west of the Everest Base Camp, giving you the benefit to summit Gokyo Ri 5483m offering the best panoramic view of Cho Oyo 8201meters, Mt.Everest 8848 meters, Makalu 8475 meters and other peaks in this region.
Chola Pass Trekking is combination trek to visit Gokyo lake valley to Gokyo Ri climb then crossing through Chola pass 5368mtrs then trek to Everest Base camp valley to hike Kalapttar 5550m and day hike to Everest Base Camp, after such great view and hike Chola pass trek is descending to Pheriche, Namche to Lukla then fly back to Kathmandu.
